While ageing is inevitable, there are a few hacks and habits women can learn to turn back the clock.
A skin care expert told GB News that ladies over 50 can achieve 'youthful' looking skin by investing in one essential skin care product.
Skin care expert and owner of The D.O.R Beauty Edit Denise Rabor said: "Regular exfoliation is crucial for youthful skin, as it eliminates dead cells and enhances radiance.
"Without it, dry patches, clogged pores, uneven texture, and fine lines persist."

According to the expert, skipping exfoliation has a knock-on effect on the rest of your anti-ageing skin care routine. She said: "Skin care products are less effective when not properly absorbed."
Denise's next top tip was to stay hydrated. She advised: "To keep skin healthy, hydration is key, inside and out.
"While drinking water is crucial, incorporating water-rich foods like cucumber into your diet is also beneficial. Water-rich foods not only boost hydration but also provide valuable nutrients.
"Reducing your intake of dehydrating fluids such as tea and coffee is important too. Dehydration can lead to dryness and wrinkles, so prioritising hydration helps maintain skin elasticity and a plump appearance."
The expert also told middle-aged ladies to invest in hydrating products. Denise advised: "Nourish your skin with essential moisture daily by applying hydrating serums enriched with ingredients like hyaluronic acid and niacinamide.
"Hyaluronic acid, known for its exceptional water-retaining abilities, revitalises the skin, holding up to 1,000 times its weight in water.
"Start your skincare routine by cleansing, then apply hyaluronic acid serum to your face, neck, and décolleté before using vitamin C serums to boost collagen and combat oxidative stress.
"Complete your routine with a moisturising cream to seal in hydration. Consider incorporating tools like cool eye roller balls to alleviate under-eye puffiness for a refreshed look."
During the day, women must protect their skin from the sun if they want to remain youthful.
The skin care guru said: "Daily SPF wear is essential for skin protection. The NHS advises a minimum of SPF30 every day to counteract sun damage, which ages the skin. SPF shields against oxidative stress, preserving skin elasticity, texture, and clarity."

"During sleep, skin's blood flow and collagen repair increase, countering UV damage.
"Take advantage of richer textures at night for nourishment. While there's no set rule for sleep duration, adults typically need seven to nine hours nightly.
"Consider incorporating Retinol to enhance skin thickness and elasticity, but introduce it gradually to avoid drying or irritation."
Honing an excellent skin care routine isn't the only way women over 50 can turn back the clock. According to a plastic surgeon, women can look years younger by tweezing their eyebrows the right way.
