Wrinkles, the visible creases or folds in the skin, are caused by age-related changes and sun exposure.
While they are nothing to be ashamed of, many women are keen to reduce them and prevent new ones from forming.
A facial plastic surgeon took to TikTok to share the five habits he swears by to "stay young", including how he avoids "deep wrinkles".
Eos Rejuvenation's Dr Nima Shemirani (who goes by @TikTokRhinoDoc), stated: "As time goes on, we want to make sure we stay youthful, stay energetic - and even look that way too."
'Get a lot of sleep - I frequently say at least seven to eight hours'

To look younger "without plastic surgery", the expert stressed the importance of getting adequate shut-eye.
He advised: "Get a lot of sleep. I frequently say at least seven to eight hours of sleep. It's really good - they don't call it 'beauty sleep' for nothing. That's the time your body re-energises and gets rid of all the toxins."
Dr Shemirani explained that when inflammatory toxins build up, the result is fine lines and wrinkles, which can turn into "deep wrinkles" over time.
A second expert spoke exclusively to GB News about how many hours of sleep you need to stave off premature ageing and look "10 years younger".
Dr Chelsie Rohrscheib (PhD), from the sleep disorder diagnostics company Wesper, said that a specific amount of night rest is "one of the best ways to maintain a youthful appearance".
She explained: "Sleep accomplishes many biological functions that are required to maintain health and wellbeing."
"A lack of sleep causes inflammation and swelling, leading to puffy or dark under eyes.
"It also affects the quality and elasticity of our skin because sleep promotes blood flow and collagen production."
Research certainly supports the idea that making sleep a priority is an effective - and free - anti-ageing tool.
An article entitled 'Sleep deprivation and the skin', published in the CED (educational journal of the British Association of Dermatologists), referenced a study measuring sleep and skin ageing in 60 healthy women.

The experts found that those who were "good sleepers" had a "significantly lower" SCINEXA [score for intrinsic and extrinsic skin ageing] score, reduced transepidermal water loss and a "significant improvement" in skin reddening after ultraviolet exposure.
They added: "The patients who were classified as good sleepers also felt more attractive and were happier with their appearance."
