As more and more people looking for ways to retain their youthful complexion, supplementation may help.
Speaking to GB News, a nutrition coach explained that hyaluronic supplements may be the missing element in many people’s anti-ageing regimen.
Patrick Farrell explained: “When you consume collagen protein, your digestive system will generally break it down into its constituent amino acids.
“So as long as you are getting enough protein in general, you are providing your body with the necessary building blocks for collagen in the skin.”

While there is evidence that collagen supplements can offer benefits for skin rejuvenation, users should remain realistic about their benefits.

According to Patrick, wrinkle reduction with collagen peptide supplementation generally falls between seven and 12 per cent.

For those considering supplementation, the results can be expected within four to eight weeks of consistent use.
