The four essential ingredients offer a targeted approach to mature skin concerns
As people reach their 60s, many search for active ingredients to incorporate into their skin care regime.
These are specific ingredients added to products that target specific concerns like wrinkles and pigmentation.
Among the myriad options available, retinol, hyaluronic acid, Azelaic acid and Argireline stand out for their remarkable effects.
A skin care enthusiast named Manuela Marcheggiani recently highlighted the benefits of each ingredient in a clip aimed at women over 60.

In a recent clip she listed her four “staples for 60 year olds”. Azelaic acid, at a 14 per cent concentration, is Manuela's first recommendation for mature skin.
“I love this because of the pigmentation. I want an even skin tone on my neck, décolleté and face," she said. “I use it a couple of time a week, it is really going to help with that skin colour and quality because it helps even out pigmentation.
Argireline is Manuela's second essential ingredient, specifically targeting fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes.
The specific product she uses promises five years' younger-looking skin in five days. It works as a neurotransmitter inhibitors that limits chemical messengers responsible for the movement of facial muscles.
“I’m telling you, this has been such a game changer for those fine lines and wrinkles," she shared. “You can literally see the skin smoothening out.“
Niacinamide at five per cent concentration is the third key ingredient in Manuela's anti-ageing arsenal.
At the right concentration, niacinamide may be helpful for reducing signs of sun damage that come with ageing.
“Everybody wants a good anti-oxidant, Everyone wants to boost that element in their skin," Manuela noted. “This niacinamide formulation gives you that right exact dose."

Retinol has emerged as the gold–standard in anti-ageing skin care, revolutionising the way we maintain a youthful complexion.
The prescription version of the treatment, known as tretinoin, has particularly gained recognition for its effectiveness.
According to experts at Cleveland Clinic, the active ingredient exfoliates the skin and increases the collagen production, giving the skin a fresher and plump appearance.
