Looking younger does not have to be a complicated process, an ageless life coach told GB News

While there are countless cosmetic treatments and procedures out there promising quick anti-ageing, excellent results can also be achieved cheaply, easily and risk-free at home.

GB News spoke exclusively to a middle-aged woman who maintains a youthful appearance using totally natural methods. Her secret? Keeping things simple.

Life coach Kamini Wood revealed that she relies on a basic skin care routine, healthy foods, regular exercise and a positive outlook to keep her young.

She told GB News: "I get mistaken for being in my late 20s all the time, even though I am actually closer to 50 with a couple of adult children.

"My secret is keeping things simple. My skin care routine is simple. My diet is simple - I don't overdo it with any fad diets.

"I exercise routinely, and I have incorporated mindfulness. Oddly, I have had a few very stressful years, and yet people still tell me that I look young."

Speaking specifically about her skin care regime, Kamini shared that she never goes to bed without taking her makeup off, and she washes her face with a "gentle" cleanser.

She also "hydrates" her skin with a CeraVe cream - "but that's honestly it".

Cleansing is essential for a youthful, healthy and vibrant glow - as long as you're doing it correctly.

To truly feel the benefit of this skin care task, always do a double cleanse; the first cleanse will remove leftover makeup and sunscreen, allowing the second to do its magic.

As for moisturising, choosing the correct time to do this makes all the difference.

If you're looking to invest in new products, it's always wise to consult a dermatologist, who can offer tailored advice.

This is because there are so many cleansers and moisturisers out there catering to all skin types and concerns.

If you're going it alone, vitamin C, collagen, retinol and hyaluronic acid are some popular anti-ageing ingredients to look out for - just ensure you're using them according to their packet instructions.

As well as removing her makeup, gently cleansing and moisturising her skin, it's likely Kamini uses sun protection to help maintain her glow.

Sunscreen is hailed by experts as the most important anti-ageing skin care product.

Tricia Trimble, founder and president of sun and skin care brand Suntegrity, told GB News readers to apply broad-spectrum SPF 30 mineral sunscreen "daily" to protect against UV damage.

As well as increasing your risk of developing skin cancer, harmful UV rays can cause physical signs of ageing, including fine lines and wrinkles, sun spots, redness due to dilated blood vessels and leathery skin.

GB News has spoken to an array of women who do not look their age. One lady approaching her 50s revealed she looks 10 years younger thanks to an "anti-ageing secret weapon".

A 48-year-old has also managed to drop a decade using a healthy habit - try it, and your body will thank you.
