When it comes to looking younger, there are several possible routes to go down. Many women choose to improve their locks, tackling hair loss and going for anti-ageing cuts. For an instant fix, makeup hacks can work wonders too.
For long-term results, developing an effective skin care routine that includes boosting ingredients is a must.
GB News spoke exclusively to a quinquagenarian about how she maintains a youthful look with key skin care practices.
Lyn Power, founder of Conscious Beauty Collective, stated: "I'm 57 but am regularly told I look like I'm in my 40s - sometimes even my 30s.

"I'm a clean beauty advocate, so I am a heavy skin care user - but I only wear clean products."
Lyn diligently follows a morning and evening skin care routine. In the morning, she exfoliates, tones, applies a serum and moisturiser, before finishing off with sunscreen.
In the evening, she cleanses, tones, then applies a serum and a night oil.
She added: "I don't use a lot of makeup; I focus on brows and lips, and that does the trick."
What is clean beauty?
Clean beauty, as defined by the experts at skin care brand Foreo, "is synonymous with non-toxic beauty".
Experts said: "It is a term used to describe cosmetics and skin care products that are free from harmful chemicals.
"This includes ingredients like parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and synthetic fragrances."
Talc, silica, hydroquinone and refined petroleum were also named as "potentially harmful ingredients to avoid".
The experts at Knesko Skin agreed that clean beauty is the way to go, stating: "Choosing products that are safe and kind to your skin can make all the difference in your complexion and overall wellness."
They explained that clean products do not contain "potentially toxic ingredients" but rather "simple, safe [ones] derived from natural resources".
According to the skin care gurus, "clean beauty minimises skin irritation" by "exposing your skin to fewer harmful chemicals and irritants".
While clean beauty is hailed by many experts, the "best" skin care products should be assessed on an individual basis, as what works for one person may not work for another.
Some ingredients are widely understood as skin-boosting, though, so it's worth looking for products that contain these.
