Women have plenty of options when it comes to looking younger. Following a healthy diet, incorporating exercise into your routine and revamping your hairstyle are all great options.
The right skincare and makeup regime can also work wonders. According to one expert, mature ladies can look 10 years younger in 10 minutes with just a few makeup hacks - grab your brushes and get started on this daytime look.
Makeup artist Glam Girl Gabi stated: "The most important step in any makeup application is skin prep. It is the foundation, the base for everything else, and if you don't properly prep your skin with the right products, your makeup will just not look as good or it just won't last you for the whole day."
A hydrating base is essential for dry, dehydrated, thin and wrinkled skin, which often comes with age. Ladies should ensure they choose something that sits well under makeup. Combining a moisturiser with a serum is a great way to go, although if your skin is on the oily side, just go for a serum. Then, apply sun cream.

Women can take years off their faces with a 10-minute makeup routine

Gabi told women to prep underneath their eyes with a firming serum so that makeup doesn't settle in fine lines.
The expert said to do their eyebrows first, before the rest of their makeup routine. She instructed them to use a skinny pencil to outline the shape at the bottom, then fill the rest in with hair-like strokes.
Finish off with a spooly brush to even the makeup out and soften the brows up. Use a clear brow gel to keep them in place "all day long".
Moving on to eyes, the makeup guru recommended applying eyelash primer or concealer to the eyelids, before setting it with a translucent powder.
She told ladies to use a taupe brown eyeshadow to contour the crease of their eyelid, then blend in a skin-toned eyeshadow over the eyelid. Add a spot of highlight in the middle for a "beautiful shine", then go over it with the first brown shade.
Ladies should then define their lash line with some eyeliner - warm brown colours work well. Grab a cotton swap and dip it in moisturiser, running this over the skin below the eyes to ensure you've picked up any fallout.
Gabi suggested that women might want to use a full-coverage CC cream with SPF for their base. They should first apply this with a foundation brush and then use a beauty sponge to blend it in to ensure an "airbrushed" finish.
A colour corrector will then offset darker pigments in the skin. The expert warned mature women to not apply more than they need to. Then, dust translucent powder under the eyes to avoid creasing.

Gabi continued: "Moving onto blush and final touches, this is where the magic really happens in mature makeup application. Adding colour to the cheeks, lifting the lashes and adding definition to the vermillion border of the mouth is everything - these steps will take years off your face." The vermilion border of the mouth is the sharp demarcation between the lip and the skin.
Apply cream blush to create the illusion of a glow. Curl your lashes and add a few coats of black mascara.
Finally, ladies should don their lipstick. While many mature women opt for nude tones as opposed to brighter, bolder hues, Gabi suggested that this might be a mistake.
She called nude lippy unflattering and claimed it can take the warmth out of a woman's face. Pink or peach, however, plus a bit of shine, can do "wonders". Ladies should also take care to define the vermillion border of their mouth to "turn back the clock".
The expert also shared how women over 50 can look younger instantly with a "game-changing" hair hack.
