The expert said: "Everybody loves to look younger these days and a great tip when applying your makeup to make you look younger, youthful and glorious is to apply your favourite tinted moisturiser, foundation or blemish blams cream with a dampened beauty blender."

Karleigh recommended a method to help women apply makeup effectively to create the youthful appearance that is desired.

The application method requires a bouncing motion across the skin's surface, which not only ensures seamless blending but also enhances the longevity of the foundation.

Karleigh advised using a beauty sponge to perform this bouncing motion the best and this technique will help create an even complexion, essential for a more youthful appearance.

Once the blending is complete the makeup artist recommended: "Set with a translucent powder such as the Doll Smash.

Karleigh emphasised only setting the powder on the areas that tend to get shiny during the day, this is typically the T zone and chin.

She said: "I like to then apply a heavier foundation with a kabuki brush to really enhance the skin's glow."

In order to create a glow on the skin, the expert advised applying the foundation with circular motions.

This circular buffing technique has the added benefit of increasing blood circulation, resulting in a natural, healthy glow.

For an extra boost of youthfulness, Karleigh recommended using a hydrating mist as part of the routine.
