Ageing is a gift and nothing to be ashamed of. However, it's totally normal to desire a youthful appearance, and there are many ways to go about achieving this.
Developing an effective skin care routine is essential, as is looking after your hair. Maintaining an active lifestyle is also hailed as a great way to age well - not to mention, slower.
GB News spoke exclusively to almost-50-year-old Kojenwa Moitt about her secrets to age-defying beauty.

Kojenwa also learnt a lot about ageing well from her mum, who worked as a pathology nurse.
To maintain a youthful look, the quadragenarian exercises regularly, eats well, and avoids both alcohol and tobacco.
Speaking to the benefits of exercise, she advised fellow anti-ageing enthusiasts to "take long walks". She said: "Get the steps in - your body will thank you."
In an article entitled 'The Potential of Exercise on Lifestyle and Skin Function: Narrative Review', published in the National Library of Medicine, experts confirmed that exercise has a positive effect on the appearance of the skin.
They stated: "Regular exercise is associated with increased blood flow to the skin, elevated skin temperature and improved skin moisture.
"Furthermore, it has been shown to improve skin structure and rejuvenate its appearance, possibly through promoting mitochondrial biosynthesis and affecting hormone secretion."
Of course, it is widely understood that exercise is not only crucial for weight management but for healthy ageing too.
In 'The multifaceted benefits of walking for healthy aging: from Blue Zones to molecular mechanisms', also published in the National Library of Medicine, experts said: "Physical activity, including walking, has numerous health benefits in older adults.
"Walking decreases the risk or severity of various health outcomes such as cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes mellitus, cognitive impairment and dementia, while also improving mental wellbeing, sleep and longevity."
As well as keeping active, Kojenwa also takes care of her diet, revealing that cutting out sugar has been a game-changer.
"The damage sugar inflicts on the human body has been well documented," she warned. "Take heed."
The youthful 48-year-old also practices intermittent fasting. According to the experts at City Skin Clinic, this can be an effective anti-ageing practice.

"It helps slow down the aging process and results in skin that looks and feels more youthful."
The skin gurus explained that intermittent fasting also triggers autophagy, which "lets the skin clear out damaged cells and toxins efficiently".
It may also "boost the production of human growth hormone which plays a significant role in collagen synthesis".
Developing an effective skin care regime with anti-ageing active ingredients is another way to guarantee a more youthful appearance.
