A doctor shared how women can look younger by tweaking their diets
Women have many options when it comes to looking younger. From wardrobe revamps and makeup hacks to hair transformations, no one has to be content with growing old gracefully.
According to one naturopathic doctor, diet can play a key role in making a woman look young or old. Ladies who hope to maintain a youthful appearance may want to avoid chips, white sugar, and margarine.
Naturopathic doctor Dr Janine suggested that what you eat can directly correlate to how you look. She named three foods that "can make you look older".
While "French fries" - or chips - are delicious, easy and versatile too, they may not be super rejuvenating.

On her YouTube channel, Dr Janine said that the "bad fats" in chips and what they're fried in can be inflammatory to the body.
The experts at Facial Aesthetics explained why this is not conducive to a youthful appearance. They said: "When our skin is inflamed, it can show in the forms of redness, sensitivity, acne, rosacea, and many others.
"Inflammaging has a sneaky way of making our skin look older than it should."
In addition to avoiding inflammatory foods, there are plenty of things women can do to reduce inflammation in the body.
It's important to eat a healthy diet rich in healthy fats, lean protein, fruits and vegetables. In addition to this, keep active and keep your step count high.
Women should also try to avoid stress - which causes inflammation - by exercising and practising mindfulness or yoga.
Finally, they can fight free radicals by avoiding smoking and air pollution, and choosing "clean products" in clothing, cleaning and beauty categories, said the experts at Facial Aesthetics.
Potatoes (chips) are also high in glyphosate and potentially deuterium, according to Dr Janine.
She explained that deuterium is heavy hydrogen which slows down the body's mitochondria and their ability to make energy.
As well as chips, women who want to look younger should avoid white sugar, the expert claimed. This is because it is also high in deuterium.

Lastly, women who want to maintain a youthful appearance might want to cut down on margarine.
Margarine is filled with trans fats which stops the cellular membranes from working properly. This means it "isn't the best for letting nutrients get into cells or for toxins to leave".
The right food choices can make a woman look younger, but it can also make them slimmer. A menopause expert revealed how women in their 40s and 50s can lose weight by avoiding a carbohydrate.
