The wellness enthusiast listed several foods that helped her grow luscious long locks
Many foods are intricately linked to hair health, but meat consumption could be the key to making locks thicker and healthier, according to one health enthusiast.
The protein found in meat plays a crucial role in strengthening hair follicles and promoting growth, with just a 100-gram serving of sirloin steak providing up to 29 grams of protein.
The food source is particularly beneficial due to its easily absorbable iron content, which supports red blood cells in delivering oxygen to the hair follicles.
Lauryn Bosstick revealed in a recent clip that she has enjoyed the “longest and thickest” hair of her life since she started eating more meat.

“One thing I’ve been doing is I eat a tonne of meat. It has personally changed my life and so I’m passionate about giving this advice to see if it works for anyone else," she told viewers.
“I so much raw meat which has tonnes of amino acids in it. I eat so much meat, I have bowls of meat every day.
"It’s essentially just a bowl of ancestral blend force of nature, which has organ meat in it, it’s amazing and full of vitamins and minerals."
While protein packs a generous amount of protein, it has been linked to a higher risk of cancer and diabetes when consumed excessively. Britons should check with a doctor before drastically changing their diet.
Other protein and iron-rich foods that support hair growth include eggs, spinach, fatty fish and potatoes.
The content creator also lauded silk pillowcases and getting a “dust” trim at the salon, instead of a cut, for longer hair.
Elsewhere in the clip, Lauryn swore by using a shower head filter to “neutralise chlorine” during her hair wash.
She also used a hair-specific supplement and washed her hair only three times a month to avoid stripping the scalp of its natural moisture.
