London continues to have the most expensive homes
The cheapest and most expensive places to buy in England have been shared in the latest ONS House Price Index.
Yorkshire and the Humber holds the cheapest properties, as of June 2023.
London was shown to be the most expensive place to buy in England, with an average house price of £527,979.
The South East and East followed as the priciest locations, with a house setting buyers back by £391,406 and £351,213 respectively.

Yorkshire and the Humber was shown to be the cheapest average house in England at £208,863.
The list of most expensive to least expensive has not changed much in recent years.
However, London showed the biggest drop in house prices in the last year, according to the data.
Properties in the North enjoyed the biggest increases, with houses in the North East up by 5 per cent, and houses in the North West up by 3.5 per cent on average.
The ONS research - released today - showed house prices across the UK increased by £5,000 on average.
