The TikToker revealed the small adjustment she made to her hair routine to add heaps of volume to her roots
Many strive to achieve voluminous, thick, and long hair, but having naturally thin hair puts some people at a disadvantage.
While there are myriad solutions to this problem, a great number of hacks promising volume are time-consuming and tedious to do if you have to rush out the door.
Fortunately, a content creator known as Sohnime on TikTok, knows a hack to add “crazy volume to flat and thin hair” in a matter of seconds.
She shared the tip in a video captioned, “My fav hair volume hair, it’s so easy and quick”, revealing how a crimper can help achieve salon-worthy results.
Sohnime said her hack is quicker than getting a blowout

“This is how I take my flat lifeless hair and add so much volume to it with just one product," she told viewers.
"All you need is a hair crimping iron and you’re going to want to section your hair off according to where you want volume.
“You’re then going to crimp the root and flip your hair over so it can cool off and this adds extra volume.
“You can crimp as much as you want, just make sure you have enough hair on top to cover it. Look how much volume this added to my left side. It’s so much easier and quicker than doing a blowout so I really recommend it.”
The clip garnered a lot of praise from viewers, with some labelling the hack “genius” in the comments.
Other content creators like Tammy, who runs the YouTube channel Tammy’s Timeless Beauty, have shared their own hacks for thicker and voluminous hair.
The beauty enthusiast credited rollers for the incredible lift they add to the roots, showing viewers just how much new life they can breathe into her hair.
“I don’t use anything small because I don’t want a kinky curl,” Tammy explained in a video.

“I don’t play with my hair once it comes out of the rollers, the more you play with it, the more you pull the curl out.
“I take the rollers out and then I flip my hair over and I just lightly shake, and then I flip my hair back and I come in with my hair spray."
She also stressed the importance of good scalp care for healthy and fast growth, claiming it warrants more attention than the ends.
While everyone's hair is different, making small adjustments to your routine can instantaneously improve thickness and volume.
