Now is the perfect time to do a number of garden jobs
September sees the end of summer but that doesn't mean it's time to neglect the garden.
In fact, this is the best time to do a number of jobs in your outdoor space in order to keep it healthy and free from disease.
As the weather cools and leaves begin to fall from trees, gardeners need to make sure they are staying on top of this.

He said: "Keep your garden and lawn free from layers of debris and any moist September leaves which have fallen.
"A build-up of debris can stop light and water reaching the grass and plant roots and increase the likelihood of diseases."
Although the days are getting cooler, September can be a very rewarding time in the garden.
In fact, autumn is one of the best times to start work on a vegetable patch.
Jonathan continued: "You can start a new vegetable patch at any time of year, but spring and autumn are the best times to begin work.
"Pick a vegetable and fruit topsoil which is easy to work with, even when wet, to create the perfect vegetable beds and patches."
It is a great time to reap the benefits of any vegetable patches started earlier in the year.
The expert explained lots of vegetables are at their peak now, so it is a great time to harvest.
