Walkers launches 'sandwich-inspired' crisps in new Heinz collaboration but opinions are mixed - 'they all look grim'

In a collab social media post, Walkers said: "Swipe to reveal our new sarnie-inspired flavours with @heinz_uk."

The three new flavours garnered a lot of attention on social media but reviews were mixed.

One excited foodie asked: "Where will they be stocked please and how soon? Cannot wait to try the cheese toastie flavour."

Another commented: "Can’t wait to try!" A third chimed in: "I need to pop to the shop." One crisp fan described it as a "need".

A crisp enthusiast said: "Ooooo, I am very, very excited about these." Another said: "Love these! Bean and cheese toasties are the best!!"

But not everyone was convinced. A disgruntled crisp fan would rather see the return of another flavour. They complained: "Now who asked for these flavours? Just bring back Worcester sauce flavour."

Another asked: "Who has beans with a cheese toastie? Never in my life have I seen beans in a cheese toastie - cheese and ham yes but never cheese and beans." Another said: "They all look grim."

Walkers and Heinz did not announce which supermarkets will stock the three new flavours. However, they have already been spotted on the Sainsbury's website.
