The new additions are part of Waitrose's summer spruce up

Waitrose has unveiled its summer 2025 product line, featuring 148 new and improved items now available in stores and online.

The collection features a nostalgic revival of Peach Melba, Mediterranean-inspired dishes, and the social media sensation "tipple toppers".


Over half of the range consists of brand-new products, designed to help customers embrace Mediterranean cuisine and explore bold new flavours.

The summer refresh has been developed using AI-powered food and drink trends, customer insights and social media influences.

The new range revives classic desserts, including Peach Melba Ice Cream and Peach Melba Jelly, inspired by the 1800s favourite.

Black forest gateau flavours appear in the No.1 Belgian Dark Chocolate & Sour Cherry Ice Cream, nodding to the 1970s dinner party staple.

Trends on the social media platform TikTok feature prominently with "Tipple Toppers", as well as mini boards, Milano salami, Ibérico cheese wedges, olives and bruschetta bites designed to perch atop drinks glasses.

The social media-inspired Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream captures the essence of the popular treat, complete with sponge pieces and a sweet cinnamon ripple.

Mediterranean flavours dominate the summer collection, featuring herby and aromatic dishes that are perfect for sharing and tapas-style dining.

The range includes Baharat Spiced Chicken Pastries and a Mediterranean Marinated Olive Trio, showcasing complex spice profiles.

To complement these dishes, Waitrose offers Blood Orange & Pink Grapefruit Lemonade, inspired by Mediterranean summers.

Premium grilling options feature in the new Waitrose No.1 barbecue range, responding to customers' desire to upgrade their basics.

A standout item is the No.1 Red Shrimp & Monkfish with Pil Pil Butter, aiming to elevate the classic Spanish dish with Argentinian red shrimp and monkfish chunks.
