Waitrose shoppers have a huge new selection of sweets to choose from
Supermarket giant Waitrose is expanding its premium No.1 range with more than 25 new and improved confectionery items.
New products include No.1 Hazelnut Orange Chocolate Truffles, Blonde Feuillantine Truffles and Italian Nougat with Pistachio.
The new products will be found across chocolate boxes, filled chocolate bars, truffles and nougat.
This includes new pistachio-flavoured items following the success of the Waitrose Cracking Pistachio Easter egg - which was a unanimous favourite in a taste test by Patrick Christys and the GB News team.

Inspiration has been taken from this to create the likes of Italian Nougat with Pistachio and Dominican Republic 49% Milk Chocolate with Hazelnut, Cashew & Pistachio.
The supermarket has also made a nod to trends including citrus and orange, and blonde chocolate.
Innovations manager at Waitrose Lizzie Haywood commented: “The No.1 confectionery range celebrates the emerging culinary trends, especially towards named provenance and variety on citrus fruits such as Valencia Orange, as we know this flavour provides the taste and quality cues that customers are looking for.
"This confectionery range provides our customers with new options reacting to culinary trends, with pairings such as chocolate and Valencia orange providing a more sophisticated take on the chocolate orange flavour.”
Discussing the No.1 Blonde Chocolate with Feuilletine & Sea Salt, one shopper commented: "Absolutely sensational. Not a usual blonde chocolate fan, but this chocolate I had tried from the Easter egg version. After having tried this chocolate through the Easter egg, I resorted to searching this flavour as a chocolate bar, and to my surprise came across the bar.
