Waitrose has unveiled a range of 30 new bakery products in response to a significant demand for baked goods.
The supermarket chain's latest range features innovative flavours and unique items designed to cater to evolving consumer tastes.
This expansion of the bakery line comes off the back of a 14 per cent surge in in-store bakery sales compared to last year.
Bakery Product Developer at Waitrose, Elizabeth Greenman, highlighted two standout items from the new range.

"Our new No.1 Sourdough Baguette has been crafted and slowly proofed for 36 hours, and the No.1 Seeded Ancient Grains Bread is made with an artisan malt mix," she explained.
“Our focus on freshness and quality has led us to introduce more products that can be baked in-store, providing our customers with an increased sensory experience."
Both products are freshly baked in-store and will feature a variety of innovative breads and pastries.
Customers can now enjoy Cheese and Onion Tear & Share Bread, perfect for social gatherings.
For those who prefer a spicy kick, the Jalapeno & Cheddar Breadstick offers a flavourful twist. Curry enthusiasts will appreciate the Curried Tear & Share Bread.
The self-serve patisserie range will also feature 14 new seasonal sweet treats perfect for cosy autumn brunches and meet customer demands for indulgent flavours.
Among the latest additions are a Tiramisu bun and a Triple Butterscotch Bun.
Waitrose's No.1 range features Cinnamon Croissant Cups, Pistachio Croissant, and Apple Tarte Tatin Turnover.
