Chocolate lovers across the UK have been left devastated as Mondelez confirms it has axed the dark chocolate version of its iconic Toblerone bar.
The sweet giant announced it has made the difficult decision to discontinue Toblerone Dark bars in the UK.
A spokesman for the firm said: "While we understand that this may be disappointing for some consumers, we continue to invest in Toblerone."

Customers have been scouring shops for months trying to hunt down the beloved treat, with many taking to social media in desperate attempts to source the discontinued bar.
One person messaged Toblerone directly on X, asking: "Hi has dark chocolate Toblerone been discontinued in the UK as unable to find in shops or online?"
Another wrote on Facebook: "Does anyone know selling mini dark toblerone I can get a mixed bag but only like the dark ones."
A third customer lamented: "Cannot purchase this these local my husband loves plain chocolate so this are a great treat."

Those lucky enough to find remaining stock are now selling multi-packs on Amazon for up to £25.
Fans can still purchase milk and white chocolate versions of the bar, which remain available in most supermarkets and airport duty-free sections.
In stark contrast to Toblerone's disappointing news, Caramac chocolate bars have made a triumphant return to UK stores.
The caramel-based product, which was discontinued by Nestlé in 2023 after more than 60 years in production, is now available at Heron Foods stores nationwide.
