Bisto has stirred controversy with a new festive twist on its beloved Gravy Granules, with some users labelling it "wrong".
Britons reacted to the Limited Edition Bisto Winter Spice Gravy Granules, which combine cinnamon and cardamom after they were spotted at Tesco.
The product has received three five-star reviews on Tesco's website so far, where a product description reads: “We’ve got an exclusive festive blend for your holiday feast that will make it unforgettable.
“Our Limited Edition Bisto Winter Spice Gravy Granules will elevate your Christmas dinner with the rich and savoury essence of traditional winter spices captured in every granule.

“The perfect accompaniment to a roast dinner or festive beef wellington, it’s too good to miss out on this delicious exclusive flavour.”
The product was also highlighted on the Instagram page @newfoodsuk, where it garnered mixed reactions from shoppers.
“Not sure about this,” wrote one person in the comments, while another said it is "just wrong.”
“And it’s not April fool’s,” wrote another person. One more user joked, “is nothing sacred?".
It comes as Premier Foods has also announced it is bringing back its seasonal lines across its Bisto, Paxo and OXO ranges.
Marketing director for flavours and seasoning at Premier Foods Mark Alldred said: “Bisto is already a popular brand during the festive season.
“Over the Christmas period, shoppers can perfect roasts using household brands that deliver on taste and quality.
