All products are made with 100% British milk and contain 14 different strains of live kefir cultures. The range aims to support digestive health while providing a source of calcium and natural protein.
The High Protein range features fat-free yoghurts providing 20g of protein per portion, including natural, strawberry and vanilla varieties priced from 95p.
Breakfast options include a protein-rich oat and seed granola at £2.75, chocolate porridge pots and blueberry pancakes.
The range also offers five frozen ready meals, each under 500 calories and containing one or two portions of the recommended five-a-day vegetables.
Additional products include high-protein flatbreads, various pasta options, and noodles, with prices starting from £1.10. Research by Tesco revealed that gut health ranks as the second highest health concern among Britons at 37 per cent, following heart health at 47 per cent.
Seven in 10 people are actively incorporating more fibre into their diets, while 27 per cent are adding probiotics and live cultures to support gut health.
The survey also found that protein consumption is a key priority, with nearly 60 per cent of UK adults planning to focus on including more protein in their diets during 2025.
Brand manager of Own Brand Health at Tesco, Danielle Simpson said: "We know how important eating healthily is for our customers and we want to make sure they can shop conveniently for everything they need.
"People are looking for more support to maintain good digestive health, particularly with the gut influencing so many bodily functions, so being able to introduce the new Gut Sense Kefir yoghurts was really important to us, providing a source of calcium and supporting healthy digestion including 14 strains of live cultures.
"We're also excited to be launching the new High Protein range with options including fat-free yoghurts, snacks and meals that are both delicious and nutritious, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner, and each available for under £3."
