Under an Instagram post by food blogger Newfoodsuk, shoppers expressed their excitement for the seasonal goodies.

One Tesco shopper enlisted the help of a loved one for a pre-Christmas mission. They said: "If you go to Tesco, please get me some pigs in blanket peanuts."

Speaking specifically about Tesco Pigs In Blankets Combo Mix, one shopper said to their work colleague: "Next team meeting I might get some." To this, they responded: "I'll be sitting next to you then."

Another asked a loved one: "Have you seen these in Tesco? I really want some."

But Tesco isn't the only supermarket bringing a bit of festive spirit to supermarket shelves.
