British shoppers have been warned that an urgent food recall is being extended, affecting anyone with a peanut allergy.
Earlier this month, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) shared that garlic powders sold in the UK were pulled from sale.
Damasgate Wholesale recalled Sofra Garlic Powder as it contains peanuts, which were not mentioned on the label.
Allergy UK explained that while most reactions to a peanut allergy are "mild", they can also be "moderate or severe".

In the worst-case scenario, anaphylaxis, the most severe form of an allergic reaction, can be "life-threatening".
Initially, 12 products with specific lot numbers and best-before dates were recalled.
However, new updates from the FSA warned that all lot numbers and best-before dates could be dangerous for some consumers.
Shoppers were told: "Damasgate Wholesale is recalling Sofra Garlic Powder because it contains peanuts which are not mentioned on the label.
"This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.
"If you have bought any of the above products and have an allergy to peanuts, do not eat it. Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund.

Precautions have been put in place to alert shoppers to the allergen.
The latest update read: "This recall has been updated as some products have been over-stickered with Precautionary Allergen Labelling (PAL).
"Where a PAL is present on products clearly indicating that peanut may be present, these are unaffected by this product recall."

Symptoms of a peanut allergy
Allergy UK stated: "Signs and symptoms usually occur within minutes of contact with peanuts, but can also occur up to one hour later. Most allergic reactions are mild but they can also be moderate or severe.
"Anaphylaxis is the most severe form of allergic reaction which can be life-threatening.
"Mild to moderate symptoms include an itchy mouth, tongue and throat; swelling of lips, around the eyes or face; red raised itchy rash (often called nettle rash, hives or urticaria); vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhoea; runny nose and sneezing.
"Any one or more of the following symptoms are a sign of a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) and should be treated as a medical emergency. If available, adrenaline should be given without delay and an ambulance called with the call operator informed that it is anaphylaxis.
"Severe symptoms of anaphylaxis include swelling of the tongue and/or throat; difficulty in swallowing or speaking; change in voice (hoarse voice); wheeze (whistling noise) or persistent cough; difficult or noisy breathing; dizziness, collapse, loss of consciousness (due to a drop in blood pressure); pale, floppy, sudden sleepiness in babies."
