E. coli is a bacteria found in the bowels and strains like Stec can cause serious illness, becoming fatal in some cases.
The FSA said: "Symptoms caused by STEC organisms include severe diarrhoea (including bloody diarrhoea), abdominal pain, and sometimes haemolytic uremic syndrome, (HUS), a serious condition that can lead to kidney failure and can be fatal."
A THIS! statement added: "Do not eat these products, instead return them to where you purchased them for a full refund.
"No E. coli has been found in the products listed. We are taking this action as a precaution in case products contain any ingredients contaminated with E. coli, implicated in the recently reported outbreak.
"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. Consumer safety is our ultimate priority and we are there taking a precautionary approach to keep our consumers safe."
Customers who have bought the food have been told to "check if you have bought the affected use-by dates" and to "return the product to the store for a full refund (with or without a receipt)".
The recall is specific to packs sold in England, Scotland and Wales only.
This comes just days after wraps, sandwiches and salads were recalled from various supermarket chains.
