The FSA added: "Greencore Group is taking the precautionary step of recalling various sandwiches, wraps and salads because of possible contamination with E. coli.
"E.coli has not been detected in the products listed but are being recalled as a precaution."
This comes as an E. coli outbreak that's resulted in at least 37 people being admitted to hospital was reported earlier this week.
Supermarkets have shared statements regarding the urgent recall.
Aldi states: "As a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling a number of sandwiches and wraps from UK supermarkets, including Aldi Eat & Go Chicken Fajita Triple Wraps due to the possible presence of E. coli. No E. coli has been found in this product.
"We apologise that this product did not meet our normal high standards and thank you for your co-operation."
Asda added: "Asda are taking the precautionary step of recalling various sandwiches and wraps because of possible contamination with E. coli. No E. coli has been found in the products."
Morrisons stated: "Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don't need a receipt.

E. coli is a bacteria that is found in the bowels. It is most dangerous when there is an infection.
Anyone can pick up an infection and it is most commonly spread if you do not wash your hands properly. Older people, diabetics, those who are dehydrated or who suffer from gallbladder or kidney stones are most at risk.
NHS states: "Symptoms of an E. coli infection can be different depending on where the infection is.
"If the E. coli has entered your blood and caused a bloodstream infection (bacteraemia) some of the main symptoms are: a very high temperature, shivers and chills, not passing urine all day and being more confused than usual."
E. coli strains like Stec can cause illness and there have been 211 cases associated with this since June 11.
