Aldi shoppers should check their cupboards for wraps sold in stores across the UK.
The supermarket giant has shared a new food recall, claiming products "may have been tampered with" and are "unsafe to eat".

Aldi states: "As a precautionary measure, our supplier is recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White because this product may have been contaminated with pieces of metal.

"No other Aldi products are affected. Customers are asked to return this product to their nearest store, where a full refund will be given. We apologise that this product did not meet our normal high standards and thank youfor your co-operation."
Shoppers can go to Aldi's website for further information. Customer services can also be contacted 0800 042 0800 for the UK and 1800 991 828 in Ireland.
The Food Standards Agency shared further information, explaining the foods may have been tampered with.
It said: "Signature Flatbreads UK is taking the precautionary step of recalling Village Bakery 8 Tortilla Wraps White because of a possible presence of metal, as the product may have been tampered with.
"The possible presence of metal makes this product unsafe to eat. This is an isolated incident and is not linked to other product recall information notices, (PRINs) recently published for metal contamination.
"Signature Flatbreads UK are recalling the above product and are working with the relevant food and police agencies to investigate the cause of the contamination.
"Point of sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product."
It added no other Aldi or Signature Flatbreads UK products are known to be affected.

This comes as Asda urgently pulls food from shelves as metal was found in some vegetables.
Asda told customers: "This is a precautionary recall due to the possibility of the product containing small pieces of metal.
"If you have purchased Taj Chopped Spinach 450g with Best Before dates 01-2026 (Jan 2026), please bring it back to your nearest store where you will be given a full refund. You do not need your receipt.
"We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused. If you would like any further information, please contact: Asda Customer Relations – 0800 952 0101."
