A second social media user agreed: "There are only 12 days - what kind of advent calendar is that? Lol." A few B&M customers cottoned on to the problem: "12 days? So basically you need two."
One said: I mean I like Pringles but not that much." Others had an issue with the timing of the launch. A social media user said: "It's not even the end of August." Another agreed: "It's still summer."
One said: "We not even had Bonfire Night or Halloween yet, how sad are supermarkets - not right in the head."
A disgruntled customer complained: "So you're getting 12 tiny little tins for £10. You're having a b***** laugh.
"No chance - then you have to buy another pack to get your 24 days, so you're paying £20 for 24 tiny tins."
But others were delighted to see the festive product on B&M shelves and will be snapping it up as soon as possible.
One considered it to be an early Christmas miracle: "My prayers [are] answered!"
Another excited shopper tagged a fellow crisps enthusiast, stating: "Look what Pringles has brought out, yummy."
A third reached out to a loved one, saying: "You'd love this." To this, they responded: "I’m gonna have to get one this year!!!"
A Pringles-enthusiast parent thought it was perfect for their little ones this Christmas. They said: "We need this for the kids this year."
The controversy over B&M's Pringles advent calendar comes as shoppers hit back over new festive Haribo sweets found in supermarkets.
One social media user said: "I don't want to think about Christmas yet. Let's get to Halloween." Another said: "It's not even Halloween, never mind Christmas."
