Last year, a record 44,000 Marks and Spencer shoppers placed a Christmas food order within hours of slots being opened by the retailers — so there's no time to waste!
Marks & Spencer has opened its immensely-popular Christmas Food to Order now, with the British retailer expecting swathes of its customers to start placing orders for December 25th today.
According to M&S, it's already shipped over one million festive products from its stores nationwide — including stocking fillers, keepsake tins and savoury snacks. With a collection slot booked with M&S, you can add additional Christmas food items from the retailer nearer to the time — so you don't need to plan everything you'll be eating on the day in late September.
There's a minimum order value of £50, and you're able to browse through the M&S Christmas food menu for 2024 without any obligation to book a slot with the retailer. According to M&S, any products ordered for Christmas are guaranteed to remina fresh until at least Boxing Day — regardless of when you collect them.

It may be more than three months until the big day, but customers can already plan their Christmas dinners, Boxing Day buffets, and New Year's nibbles online. And it's sure to be very popular with collection slots vanishing fast.
Last year, M&S revealed that a record-breaking 44,000 customers booked their Christmas collection slots on the first day of launch — with peak ordering time between 6pm and 7pm in mid-September.

The launch comes as M&S revealed that nearly half of its customers were already excited for Christmas in July, with 43% claiming Christmas dinner as their favourite meal of the year.

M&S has unveiled an array of popular items available for order this festive season. According to the retailer, the "star of the show" is their "Best Ever Slow-Cooked Turkey" (£85, 2.75kg), a free-range Pembrokeshire turkey crown brined in buttermilk for tenderness.
For those seeking alternatives, the Collection British Wagyu Rump of Beef (£60, 1kg) offers a luxurious option. Vegetarians haven't been forgotten, with the Vegetarian Nut Roast (£12, 800g) packed with nuts, cranberries and Barbers Cheddar.
For dessert, the "Best Ever Yule Log" (£15, 835g) and the whimsical "Popping Down the Chimney Dessert" (£25, 1.1kg) promise to delight diners.
M&S' recent 'Christmas Food To Order' countdown on Instagram and Facebook received record engagement, with customers eagerly tagging friends and family to start festive planning.
The service offers a wide range of options, from starters to mains, desserts, and party food, promising a fuss-free and exceptionally festive food ordering experience.
While Christmas may be too far away to think about for some Britons, others have already been stocking up on Christmas items in stores, the supermarket stated. Marks & Spencer has told customers about its "first Christmas tin of the season" that will go on sale today, available for £10.
