Morrisons will now list Morrisons Daily convenience stores on Too Good To Go
Morrisons has announced it will be extending its partnership with Too Good To Go, enabling customers to purchase 'Surprise Bags' from around 930 of its Morrisons Daily convenience stores.
The supermarket aims to "help combat food waste while providing value to customers".
The announcement builds on the success of Too Good To Go’s long-standing partnership with Morrisons. Indeed, Morrisons was the first supermarket to partner with Too Good To Go back in November 2019.
Since then, the partnership has expanded to cover almost 500 supermarkets across the UK, including Morrisons Market Kitchen and Cafés. The initiative has saved a whopping 2.3 million Surprise Bags of food from being wasted.

Morrisons stated: "Following a successful trial in various locations across north England, the Midlands and Wales, Morrisons is expanding its commitment to sustainability by listing Morrisons Daily convenience stores on Too Good To Go, the world’s number one marketplace for surplus food.
"This will enable users to fight food waste by saving Surprise Bags of surplus food at a reduced price.
"During the trial, over 40,000 Surprise Bags were saved across the regions. Each bag contains quality food nearing its sell-by date, available at a reduced price.
"Customers simply download the Too Good To Go app, search for their nearest Morrisons Daily store, reserve Surprise Bags, and pick them up at a preset time."
Too Good To Go describes itself as "a social impact company on a mission to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together".
Here, customers can enjoy good food at half price or less, "rescue" foods that could otherwise go to waste, try something new from local cafes, restaurants and bakeries, and help the environment by minimising food waste.
Senior sustainability manager for Morrisons Andrew Edlin said: "Customers and colleagues continue to tell us how much they value Too Good To Go’s Surprise Bags from Morrisons.
"It saves customers money while also helping us to play our part in reducing food waste and hitting our sustainability target of achieving scope three net-zero operational emissions, so we are delighted to be rolling the bags out to some of our Morrisons Daily convenience stores."
Country director at Too Good To Go UK and Ireland Sophie Trueman said: "Our team is absolutely thrilled to have Morrisons Daily joining the fight against food waste.
"At Too Good To Go we believe that saving food from going to waste is a win-win-win - businesses can recover the sunk cost of would-be wasted food, consumers can get good food for less and with one simple action, we’re collectively doing something great for the planet by stopping that food from ending up in landfill."
