Points can be turned into Morrisons Fivers

Morrisons has become the first supermarket to integrate its loyalty scheme with Deliveroo, allowing customers to earn More Points on their grocery deliveries.

The partnership means shoppers can now link their Morrisons More account with their Deliveroo account to collect points on purchases from Morrisons supermarkets through the delivery app.

This new integration offers customers the same rewards they would receive when shopping in-store or on Morrisons.com, but now extended to the popular delivery platform.

Customers can now input their Morrisons More loyalty card number at checkout on Deliveroo, which will then be saved for future orders.

Shoppers will earn five More Points for every item purchased, mirroring the reward structure available in Morrisons stores and online.

Once a customer accumulates 5,000 More Points, they will receive a Morrisons Fiver which can be redeemed on future purchases in Morrisons supermarkets or on Morrisons.com.

The process is designed to be seamless, with the loyalty card number being stored for convenience on subsequent orders. As part of the launch promotion, Morrisons is offering customers an additional 500 More Points when they spend £30 or more on Morrisons products via Deliveroo.

This special offer will run for two weeks, from Monday, March 31 until Sunday, April 13.

The bonus points will be automatically added to customers' More accounts when they meet the spending threshold during the promotional period.

This limited-time offer provides an accelerated way for customers to build up their points balance towards earning a Morrisons Fiver reward.

The Morrisons-Deliveroo partnership first began in 2020 and has expanded significantly since its inception. The collaboration now covers nearly 400 supermarkets and over 500 convenience stores across the UK.

The partnership has also seen the launch of a rapid on-demand delivery-only grocery store with Deliveroo HOP.

Customers currently have access to 15,000 Morrisons products through the Deliveroo platform.

Both companies have indicated plans to expand their partnership further in the coming months, potentially increasing the product range available.

Director of online at Morrisons Charlotte Exell said: "We're delighted to be able to provide even more value and flexibility to our loyalty card holders by offering them More Points when they order from our supermarkets on Deliveroo - we want to help them benefit from their More Card wherever they shop with us."

VP of New Verticals at Deliveroo Suzy McClintock added: "We are very excited to be the first delivery platform to roll out Morrisons More, ensuring our customers can access even more value and rewards on top of the great selection and convenience this partnership already provides."
