Britons can choose from popular Kellogg's cereals and fruit

Morrisons and Kellogg's have joined forces to offer free breakfast to families during the Easter holidays.

From April 7 to 27, 2025, customers can request a 'Kellogg's Breakfast' at any of Morrisons' 396 cafés nationwide.

The initiative aims to support families when school breakfast clubs are unavailable during the holiday period.

Both children and adults can benefit from the offer, which provides a free bowl of cereal and a portion of fruit. The programme returns for its third year following previous success.

Customers can choose from popular Kellogg's cereals including Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies or Coco Pops. The free breakfast also includes a choice of dairy or non-dairy milk to accompany the cereal.

Fruit options include bananas, apples and oranges, all available from the café counters. The offer is available whilst stocks last and requires no purchase, simply ask for a 'Kellogg's Breakfast' when visiting.

Research commissioned by Kellogg's reveals nearly two-thirds (61 per cent) of UK parents find their food budget stretched during school holidays.

A further two in five parents (42 per cent) report feeling anxious about keeping their children fed when schools are closed.

The initiative aims to address this holiday hunger gap by providing accessible, free breakfast options for families.

Morrisons Café senior buying manager Chris Strong said: "The breakfast club partnership with Kellogg's has proved incredibly popular with our customers and we are delighted to bring it back for a third year.

"We have helped many families across the UK since it was first introduced and will continue to do so during schools' Easter holidays."

Managing director Chris Silcock Kellogg's added: "We have been supporting school breakfast clubs for over 27 years now, but we know that there is a need for more support outside of term time. Our research shows that it's a source of worry for parents.

"The Kellogg's Breakfast programme with Morrisons extends this much-needed support for families over the Easter holidays and we're delighted to partner with them to narrow the holiday hunger gap as much as we can."

This marks the third successful year of the breakfast club partnership, with 22,000 bowls of cereal redeemed to date. The initiative builds on Kellogg's long-standing commitment to supporting school breakfast clubs since 1998.

In addition to the 'Kellogg's Breakfast' offer, Morrisons continues to run its Kids Eat Free promotion in cafés nationwide. One free kids' meal is available with any adult main meal costing over £5.

Qualifying adult meals include options from The Breakfasts, The Classics and The Chippy sections of the menu.

The Kids Eat Free offer is available seven days a week. It applies to any child under 16 years of age, providing additional support for families visiting Morrisons cafés during the Easter period.
