The deal launched this week

Morrisons is offering commuters a £1 takeaway hot drink deal in its cafés nationwide. The offer is available Monday to Saturday between 7am and 8am, providing an affordable start to the morning journey.

Launched on April 28, the promotion runs across 296 Morrisons cafés equipped with self-service kiosks.

The initiative aims to brighten customers' commutes with an accessible hot beverage option at the beginning of their day. The deal is exclusively available at locations with self-service facilities and does not extend to Morrisons Brew bars.

Customers can choose from a variety of self-serve hot drinks including lattes, cappuccinos and hot chocolate.

The process is simple – order at the self-serve kiosk, collect a takeaway cup, and fill up at the machine. The £1 price point offers significant savings compared to standard café prices.

Coffee lovers needing an extra boost and those preferring a comforting hot chocolate can equally benefit from the deal.

Shoppers can find their nearest participating café via Morrisons' store finder website. This comes as Morrisons has also introduced a new feature allowing More Card customers to donate their loyalty points to Marie Curie charity.

Morrisons has introduced a new feature allowing More Card customers to donate their loyalty points to Marie Curie charity. The partnership aims to address the fact that one in four people in the UK die without the care and support they need.

Customers can donate their More Card Points to Marie Curie in multiples of 1,000 points, equivalent to £1 in value.

Donations can be made through the More Card App or website, with each contribution converted to money and transferred directly to the charity.

The system offers flexibility, allowing customers to donate as much or as little as they wish.

Corporate affairs director at Morrisons David Scott said: “We are delighted to see this next step in our partnership with Marie Curie which builds on £1million already raised thanks to our incredible colleagues and customers.

"Today’s news marks a meaningful evolution in the Morrisons More Card loyalty programme and follows feedback from customers who want their everyday shopping to make a difference to a great charity.

"Whether our customers choose to spend their points or donate them, every transaction now has the potential to support families facing terminal illness.”
