McDonald's is set to introduce its "iconic" Shamrock Shake to UK restaurants for the first time, bringing the mint-flavoured treat to Britons for a limited two-week period.
The green milkshake is sold around St Patrick's Day at some McDonald's restaurants in the US, Canada and Ireland.
But from Wednesday, March 12 until Tuesday, March 25, it will be up for grabs at participating UK locations nationwide.
The highly anticipated beverage features a peppermint-flavoured syrup blended with a creamy milkshake base, offering customers a refreshing mint green treat.

A description of the Shamrock Shake on McDonald's US website reads: "For a limited time only, treat yourself to an iconic McDonald’s Shamrock Shake.
"It's made with creamy vanilla Soft Serve blended with our minty Shamrock Shake syrup and topped with a whipped light cream. The Shamrock Shake is available in small, medium and large."
The fast food chain emphasised that the Shamrock Shake will only be available while stocks last during the two-week window, warning customers that "when it's gone, it's gone".
In a move to support charitable causes, participating sales from participating restaurants will donate 20p from Shamrock Shake sales to Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, which provides free "home away from home" accommodation for families with children in hospital away from where they live.
The initiative will allow customers to contribute to this important cause while enjoying the limited-edition mint treat.
The launch marks another milestone for the fast-food chain following last year's successful Grimace Shake release.
Following the sell-out success of the purple-hued beverage last summer, McDonald's UK has now embraced a vibrant green addition to its drinks lineup.
Alongside the Shamrock Shake UK launch, other McDonald's limited-time items are still up for grabs.

The Philly Cheese Stack features two beef patties with cheese sauce, cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions, and pickles, available until May 6.
The McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse, available until May 6, offers a chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating with smoky BBQ sauce and cheddar cheese.
Other temporary additions include the Katsu Chicken One wrap (until June 17), Mozzarella Dippers (until March 25), Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie (until May 6), and Mars McFlurry (until March 25).
