McDonald's trials two new products in 52 restaurants in the UK
McDonald's customers will be able to try new vegan ice cream that is available now in select UK stores.
The ice cream is named 'Scoop' and will be joined by a new frozen popsicle.
Scoop will come in a tub similar to a McFlurry but does not have any toppings. It will be available in Choco and Strawberry flavours.
Only some Britons will get to try the new item, however, as it will be sold in just 52 branches to begin with.
McDonald's Scoop will be available in 52 locations

This includes locations in the northwest of England such as Manchester, Bury, Stockport, Rochdale and Denton.
The sweet treats will be trialled until September 3 and can be picked up for £1.59. It could be rolled out in 2025 across the UK if the trial goes well and some are already hopeful this will happen.
One fan posted on X: "Get the vegan ice creams around all the UK asap especially South Wales, please. Some of us can't have dairy so this is a step closer to getting a McFlurry again!"
One fan across the pond asked: "When is the vegan ice cream coming to the USA? We really need that here."
The fast food chain has also launched a new frozen ice dessert - the McFreezy®. This is available in either Orange or Mango & Pineapple flavour and is made with fruit juice and puree.
This comes as McDonald's launched a limited-edition menu for the summer including new burgers, shareboxes and mozzarella bites.
Fast food fans can pick up the new burger, The Hat Trick, which is made with three 100 per cent beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard and ketchup.
Also new to the menu are McDonald’s Chicken Sharebox®, 9 Chicken Selects Sharebox® and Mozzarella Bites with a Rich Tomato Dip.
McDonald's customers will also be able to try new desserts including Skittles® McFlurry®, Galaxy® Caramel McFlurry® and Galaxy® Chocolate and Raspberry Pie.
