M&S Foodhall has unveiled an "udderly delicious" new addition to its Easter range, bringing together two customer favourites.
The limited edition "Colin Meets Flossy the Cow" cake follows the popularity of last year's Flossy the Highland Cow chocolate egg.
The special Easter treat features the beloved Colin the Caterpillar character alongside his new bovine friend Flossy, creating what M&S describes as "a cake-filled Easter to remember".
The cake stays true to M&S's signature recipe, featuring chocolate sponge filled with chocolate buttercream and covered in milk chocolate.
Flossy's distinctive appearance is achieved with a "luscious coat of curly chocolate shavings", giving the Highland cow character her recognisable fluffy look.
The new offerings have clearly generated anticipation among M&S shoppers

The special edition cake combines the iconic Colin design with the popular Flossy character that customers "fell head over hoof in love with" last year.
"This is too cute," wrote one shopper on social media, while another quipped: "Look at how cute flossy is."
A third person commented: "I've literally just popped down and got mine."
Alongside the Easter cake, M&S Foodhall has launched a new addition to its YAY! The mushroom range is now available in powder form.
The new products come in two varieties - Lion's Mane and Reishi - both verified by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, who are recognised as global experts on mushrooms and their properties.
The powders are packaged in convenient pouches for easy incorporation into daily diets.
These versatile mushroom powders offer multiple culinary uses, suitable for sprinkling on salads or in soups.
They can also be blended into smoothies or milkshakes for an added nutritional boost.
For beverage enthusiasts, the powders can be incorporated into morning coffee or evening hot drinks, making it easy to include these speciality mushrooms in everyday consumption.
Customer reaction to the new products has been enthusiastic, with one commentator simply exclaiming: "PARDON".
