Marks & Spencer has expanded the rolls available in Foodhalls

Marks & Spencer has announced brioche buns inspired by Christmas flavours.

Customers are eager to get their hands on the lunchtime offering, the Surf & Turf Brioche Rolls.


The retailer posted about the food on Instagram, penning: "New in the M&S Foodhall – Christmas edition – a new brioche bombshell is entering the Foodhall.

"Just when you thought our festive Food on the Move range couldn’t get any better, we’ve got another surprise in store for you.

"Completing this year’s incredible Christmas sandwich collection, our delicious new Surf & Turf Brioche Roll duo features a lobster and king prawn roll with rich Marie Rose sauce and a British sous vide roast beef roll in a delicious Dijonaise dressing.

"Even better still, five per cent of every sale is donated directly to @ShelterCharity.

"Which are you eating first, and which are you saving ‘till last? Find our Surf & Turf Brioche Rolls in your local M&S Foodhall now."

The post was inundated with comments from shoppers as they tagged their loved ones and shared their excitement at trying it.

One person wrote, "yummy, can't wait to try" while another added, "I need that seafood brioche now."

"They look rather lush," another concluded while another begged M&S to get them in their local Foodhall branch.

Another excited seafood fan added, "I’ve been waiting for these since saw advertised", and others described them as a "must try" and said the retailer is "smashing it".

These are not the only festive foods available this year and Marks & Spencer has unveiled its full seasonal range.

The supermarket has released a number of festive treats

This includes additions to the vegan menu such as Vegan Pigs in Blankets and the Plant Kitchen Mince Pies.

The Plant Kitchen range also includes an array of party food, including the No Chicken Kyivs, priced at £5.50.

A new Mushroom & Chestnut Pâté priced at £6 offers a smooth vegan blend of mushrooms, chestnuts, chickpeas and shallots.

New desserts, snacks and other Free From products are also available in stores.
