Marks & Spencer food is a favourite among Britons and the retailer has announced its latest addition for the colder months.
Shoppers have been quick to share their opinions on the new soup, with one saying "it looks great".
The retailer shared the news in an Instagram post. It read: "New in the M&S Foodhall – soup season is upon us and we have another small batch beauty to warm you from the inside out.
"Joining the range of joy-filled jars, our Collection French Onion is a luxuriously rich and full-flavoured soup, finished with Italian white wine and Marsala wine.
It has launched a new M&S French Onion Soup

"Warm up a crusty baguette, smother with butter and dive right in! Comfort in a bowl. Find our Collection soups in your local M&S Foodhall or on @ocadouk now."
Shoppers headed to the comment section to share their excitement at the thought of trying the soup.
A M&S customer said they "need" the product while another exclaimed, "omg, yes!". A third hungry diner tagged their friend and said they "need a soup lunch date".
M&S fans said they were "definitely going to try and find this" while another added, "this looks great - my favourite soup".
More said it was "top tier". However, one said they were unsure about "Italian white wine in French Onion soup".
In addition to the winter warmer meal, Marks & Spencer has launched 21 new items as part of its Food on the Move range, in stores this week.
This includes festive sandwiches, pastas, sides and drinks, including the Japanese-inspired Christmas Sando and the Turkey Feast Pasta.
