Customers can grab the eye-catching product for their next culinary creation.
The retailer posted on Instagram: "New in the M&S Foodhall – do not adjust your screen.
"No, your eyes are not deceiving you… these stunning sweet potatoes really are that purple.

M&S recently intrigued shoppers by stocking a new fruit that is a "fun feast for all senses".
The latest sweet potatoes have thrilled M&S shoppers as they have said they are keen to try the flavour.
Posting on social media, one wrote, "wow, I’m excited," and a second agreed, "oooh I need to try these".
A customer who had tried the unique potatoes said they have a "lovely floral taste" and another called them "delicious".
One more customer told others "run, don't walk" and another responded, "I love them".

The Chicken Kyiv pizza, which hit stores last week, generated more than 500,000 impressions across social media platforms.
