Marks & Spencer is set to spice things up with the launch of its new Collection Indian range and a revamp of existing dishes.

From today, customers can indulge in premium offerings that blend traditional flavours with innovative twists. The upmarket retailer has spent over a year developing the range, which features nine new Collection dishes inspired by various Indian regions.

M&S has also upgraded 25 existing products and introduced 16 new ones to its Foodhalls, focusing on authenticity and freshness.

The improved cooking techniques include using newly sliced onions daily and investing in innovative ovens to achieve the smoky flavours of a traditional tandoor.

The new Collection range features a fusion dish that's sure to turn heads - the Onion Bhaji Topped Shepherd's Pie, priced at £8 for 650g. This innovative creation combines British comfort food with a crispy Indian fritter topping.

Other premium offerings include five authentic regional curries, such as the Collection Royal Lamb Biryani (£8, 650g) and Collection Goan Beef Vindaloo (£7, 460g).

For seafood lovers, the Collection Keralan King Prawn Curry (£7, 460g) offers a coconut-packed southern Indian flavour. The range also includes Collection Tandoori Masala Half Cooked Chicken (£10, 600g) and Collection Tandoori Green Tikka Butterflied Prawns (£6, 183g).

Vegetarian options are not forgotten, with the Collection Kolkata Chilli Paneer (£6, 460g) providing a sweet and savoury dish with a warming heat.

M&S has invested heavily in quality and innovative cooking techniques for their new Indian range. The retailer now uses only the freshest ingredients, slicing onions on the same day they are cooked and selecting best-in-class spices.

New ovens have been introduced to achieve authentic smoky flavours reminiscent of a traditional tandoor. The Collection range also includes specialities like the Delhi Butter Chicken (£6.50, 460g), inspired by a 1950s Old Delhi recipe, and the 4 Fire Smoked Pulled Lamb Keema Rolls (£4, 200g), filled with fragrant garam masala spices.

For those seeking a rich side dish, the Collection 8 Hour Black Dal (£3.50, 250g) offers a luxurious tomato and cream sauce finished with smoky tandoori butter.

For those who prefer classic Indian dishes, M&S has upgraded its existing range and included them in the popular £15 Dine In deal. This offer, available year-round, allows customers to choose two mains and two sides.

The revamped mains include favourites such as Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Rogan Josh, and King Prawn Bhuna. Vegetarian options like the new Vegetable Tikka Masala (£5.50, 400g) are also available.
