Marks & Spencer adds 14 items to café menus - including two returning favourites

With summer nearly over, the new menu will "fully embrace the autumnal vibes".

M&S stated: "Joining the epic new R&R coffee this month are 14 awesome new autumn menu additions.

"We're talking S'mores Milkshakes and Cinnamon Bun Lattes, as well as Perfect Ted™ Matcha and a selection of Single Origin Hot Chocolates. The café is well and truly full of seasonal treats to sip and snack on."

Menu items like the S'mores Milkshake are sure to be a hit with customers. It is described as: "A creamy chocolate and marshmallow shake with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, marshmallows and biscuit crumb."

A new Crispy Chicken Burger, Chips & Slaw meal will also join the menu. It said: "Autumn grub at its finest. Crispy British chicken tenders, rocket and gherkins in a warm ciabatta bun, served with chips and naked slaw."

The new menu items will join the updated coffee roast that has been described as "incredible".

The retailer shared the news with a post on Instagram. It read: "Steaming hot café news. In need of a little more R&R in your life?

"Our incredible new Roast & Ritual coffee is just the ticket. We've moved to a medium-light roast meaning more flavour, less bitterness. It has flavours of candied nuts and dried fruit, with a long, sweet finish - yum.

"It's made with 100 per cent hand-picked, specialty-graded Brazilian, Ethiopian and Peruvian Arabica beans – only the very best quality beans make the cut.

"It works perfectly in any style of brew (did you know all of our espresso-based coffees are made to speciality coffee brew standards?)."
