'You've outdone yourself!' Marks & Spencer revamps entire aisle of treats and shoppers 'can't wait to try'

Marks & Spencer said: "Never mind Brat summer, we’re over here living our best ‘sweet treat’ summer.

"But with so many tempting new options to pick from in our newly revamped confectionery aisle. What does your choccy choice say about you? Find the range in your local M&S Foodhall or on @ocadouk now."

New treats include three milk chocolate 'Choc' bars in the flavours caramel, shortbread & chocolate crispies, pretzels, caramel sea salt & almond nougat and chocolate candy beans, orange jellies & popping candy.

Blond chocolate caramelised pecans, 70% dark chocolate dusted almonds and Hazelnut & Milk Chocolate Nutty Clouds were also listed among the revamped items.

Chocolate-loving shoppers were quick to let Marks & Spencer know what they thought and many headed to the comments section on Instagram.

One joked: "What are you if you would eat all of them? Greedy?! They all look amazing."

Another added: "Just bought the nutty clouds, can't wait to try them." One more excitedly wrote: "I just need the clouds, the caramel ones to be specific!"

A fourth said, "you've outdone yourselves with these", and added lots of 'heart eye' and 'clapping' emojis. Others recommended their favourite products.

A shopper penned, "the nutty clouds are my fave" while another said: "Blonde choc pecans are amazing." Many more shoppers responded with excited emojis.

Supermarkets will often launch or discontinue items in line with customer demand.

This week, Marks & Spencer urged shoppers to "dive right in" and try its new range of toiletry products.

The new items include shampoos, conditioners, body washes, body butter and more. The retailer said: "New in the M&S Foodhall – your bathroom favourites … re-imagined.
