The deal will only be available for a limited time

Lidl has announced it will offer the cheapest Easter dinner on the market at just £1.68 per person, totalling £13.46 for a family of eight.

The budget-friendly feast includes a whole leg of lamb and all the trimmings, with some items priced from as little as 15p.

The supermarket's Easter dinner deal honours its promise to not be beaten on price and is available to all shoppers, not just those on loyalty schemes.

With Easter approaching, the full range of dinner items will be available in stores from April 14, with special vegetable deals dropping to 15p the following day.

Lidl's Easter dinner menu features a Birchwood Leg of Lamb (1.8kg) priced at £11.07, forming the centrepiece of the meal.

The feast is completed with Batts Mint Sauce for 55p, Newgate Gravy at £1.09, and a selection of vegetables. These vegetables include 500g of Parsnips, 1kg of Carrots, and 2kg of Potatoes, each priced at just 15p.

Green Beans are also available at 15p for a 200g pack, with shoppers able to purchase all items between April 14 and 19, 2025, while stocks last.

The supermarket has carefully planned these promotions to ensure British farmers continue to receive their usual contracted prices.

From April 15, Lidl will slash prices of its Easter Pick of the Week vegetable deals to just 15p, making the retailer the cheapest on the market. Shoppers can save up to 89 per cent per item on seasonal favourites including British produce.

The 15p deals include Carrots (1kg), White Potatoes (2kg), Green Beans (220g), Swede (per item), Parsnips (500g) and Spring Onions (per bunch).

These budget-friendly vegetables will be available in stores nationwide, allowing customers to create a show-stopping Easter spread without breaking the bank. The timing of these deals ensures shoppers can purchase everything they need for their Easter Sunday celebrations at unbeatable prices.

Chief commercial officer at Lidl Richard Bourns commented: "We believe that everyone should have access to fresh, high-quality food and Easter is no exception. Easter can be an expensive time for many families up and down the country, and Lidl customers can rest assured that we will always offer unbeatable value."

The supermarket emphasises that these price promotions are an investment directly from the discounter and have no impact on payments to British farmers.

Lidl maintains a long-standing commitment to supporting British agriculture, working directly with over 650 suppliers across the country.

Two-thirds of Lidl's core produce comes from UK farmers, giving them access to both local and international markets.

Last year, the retailer announced a £70million investment in British root vegetable suppliers through long-term contracts.
