One shopper called it a "winner", but others were less convinced

There is no shortage of festive cheese in supermarkets at this time of year, but some shoppers have commented on one particularly unique squeezy cheese.

The 'limited edition' Cheese & Pigs In Blankets Primula cheese in a tube was found in Iceland stores.

Its description reads: "Primula Cheese & Pigs In Blankets is a squeeze full of fantastic festive flavour.

"Why not squeeze on seasonal snacks, sharers or all over your Christmas leftover sandwich? It’s just too yummy not to, that’s why."

The find was shared by the blog NewFoodsUK and Britons were eager to pass on their opinions, with the product receiving mixed reviews.

Some were enthusiastic about the launch with one confirming it is "nice - I've tried it".

Another praised it writing, "this one is the winner for me" and a third chimed in, "this sounds great".

More shoppers said, "I need some in my life right now" and said they are "drooling" at the thought of it.

Some cheese enthusiasts were less convinced, however. One called it "vile" while a second described the product as "honking".

A third shopper simply commented, "no". Another unsure customer said it is "one step away from American spray cheese. Time to give up".

However, a number of customers enjoyed the product so much they were seen making recipes with it online, including pizzas and sandwiches.

New festive products have been seen across supermarkets in recent weeks and months as retailers help Britons get prepared for Christmas.
