Greggs updates its menu with 8 new items including return of fan-favourite drinks - 'what a time to be alive!'

Joining the lineup is the return of two autumnal drinks - the Pumpkin Spice Latte and Salted Caramel Latte, which are both available over ice.

New drinks the Orange Mocha and Orange Hot Chocolate have also been added to the menu.

Pumpkin spice is a popular flavour often associated with this time of year, and those who enjoy it can also tuck into a brand new Pumpkin Spice Doughnut, available for £1.35.

Savoury options have also been added, including an All Day Breakfast Baguette which is filled with an omelette, sausage, cheddar cheese, sweetcure bacon and ketchup.

Other mealtime additions include the new BBQ Chicken Pizza Box and a Mexican Bean & Spicy Cheese Flatbread.

Greggs fans headed to Instagram to share their opinions on the new menu.

Customers described the items as "amazing" and "delicious", while one added, "what a time to be alive".

A Greggs fan penned, "yes, another filled doughnut!" while others said they "need" to try it.

One who has tried the doughnut said: "It’s delicious. Quite subtle taste to the filling but still great."

However, another who had sampled it was not as sure, adding, "probably the only thing I've hated. Tastes like cinnamon".
