Currys will buy your broken kitchenware for up to £60. Yes, really.

That money will be applied as a discount to the latest Ninja air fryers — dropping some of the new air fryer models to an all-time low. The only catch? Currys will end this generous discount at midnight tonight.

To unlock the maximum £60 discount, you must use code SHARKNINJA60 at checkout. For the £20 and £25 price cuts, you'll need to use SHARKNINJA20 and SHARKNINJA25, respectively.

Ninja Double Stack XL is the latest addition to the line-up from the US manufacturer and saves on countertop space by stacking the 4.75-litre drawers vertically — a first for the popular brand

Currys will accept any electrical item working or non-working to unlock the discount. To trade-in your old gadgets, you'll need to take the item to your closest store and hand it over to the service desk.

The biggest discount is reserved for the Ninja Double Stack XL.

Announced earlier this year, this dual-drawer model is designed to solve one of the biggest headaches of kitchenware — a shortage of countertop space.

By stacking the voluminous 4.75-litre drawers on top of one another, Ninja is able to offer enough room to cook a whole 1.4-kg roast chicken in each drawer with half of the countertop space as other models in its line-up. Standing at 385mm tall, you'll need to make sure this Ninja gadget will fit beneath any kitchen cabinets.

The extra space inside each of the drawers means you can divide up these compartments with a wire rack to make four different meals at the same time — without the need to switch on the oven.

If you haven't got any existing appliances that you're willing to part with, head to the Ninja Shark online store. The US brand has launched its own Summer Sale — although, the newly-launched Double Stack XL model is not included in the discounts — with discounts of up to £70 available on select models.

Amazon has matched some of these discounts, with Prime Members able to get next-day delivery at no extra cost too.

The term "air fryer" is somewhat misleading, as these clever kitchen gadgets aren't only about crisping up homemade chips with 75% less fat than a traditional deep-fat fryer.

Air fryers can do everything you'd do in a fan oven, from baking desserts to cooking entire meals, and with a lot less electricity — with a 65% reduction in your energy bill, according to Ninja research.

As well as different preset heat modes (Max Crisp, Air Fry, Roast, Bake), including temperatures up to 240°C, the Ninja Foodi dual-drawer air fryer also has dedicated buttons to Reheat and Dehydrate meals.

Each drawer can be set to a different temperature, with cooking time synchronised to finish at the same time — making it easier to time your cooking, no matter how many different elements you're juggling.
