The limited-edition cookie contains an entire creme egg - would you try it?

Domino’s has divided fans with a twist on its cult favourite cookie after partnering up with Cadbury’s ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The pizza takeaway has spurred strong reactions after introducing its Creme Egg cookie on X.

Fans are struggling to decide whether they’re on board with the sugar-laden snack. Some have cited sugar overload as a cause for concern.

Tory peer Lord Bethel was among those to comment on the egregious cookie targeted at children.

The former health minister slammed Domino’s for the creation, arguing that it will fuel the “appalling” decline in child health across the UK.

Speaking ahead of the Domino’s x Cadbury collaboration launch, Louise Pilkington, the director of innovation at Domino’s, said: “This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to fall in love all over again with our limited-edition Domino’s Cookies made with Cadbury Creme Egg.

“The egg-citing partnership sees us pair our iconic cookies with the gooey goodness of Creme Egg, creating a decadently delicious love child of the two brands.

“So gooo on… Order a Domino’s, and tantalise your tastebuds this Valentine’s Day.”

The treat will be available in shops on 12th February, but some fans have managed to get their hands on the cookie ahead of the launch.

“Tried these at work yesterday on the launch stock and they’re amazing!" said one X user.

They continued: "It’s hit the Chocolate Orange and After Eight ones out of the park. We need white choc chip cookies now.”

Another commentator wrote: “Honestly they’re unbelievable.”
