Vodka fans have shared their delight over the new design

Smirnoff ICE, the iconic noughties drink, is celebrating its 25th birthday with a bold new look and convenient ready-to-drink cans.

Britons have shared their opinions after spotting the nostalgic tipple in supermarkets across the UK.

The classic citrus flavour that defined the early 2000s remains unchanged, appealing to those seeking a taste of nostalgia.

The new single-serve cans offer a practical way to enjoy Smirnoff ICE on any occasion, with multipacks also available for sharing with friends.

Posting on social media about the new design, the brand questions if it is the "hottest glow up of 2024", adding, "once an icon, always an icon".

A cocktail fan said, "loved it then, love it now!" while a second added it is the "right kind of throwback". Another exclaimed, "I love this stuff".

One more wrote "nice", while others simply left "heart eyes" emojis or the "fire" emojis.

The new Smirnoff ICE is now available in all major retailers across the UK, including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury's and more.

The single-serve cans come in a 250ml size with 4% ABV, priced at a RRP of £1.99.

For those preferring the traditional bottle, a 70cl option is also available at 4% ABV, with an RRP of £3.

Head of marketing at Smirnoff, Diageo GB, Jessica Lace commented: "We are very excited to be giving Smirnoff ICE the fresh new look it deserves.

"The modern makeover brings a vibrant energy to the product and celebrates the citrus flavour notes that people know and love. We're thrilled to share this evolution with our consumers."

The supermarket chain Aldi suggested serving the Roasted Pineapple Gin with a premium tonic for a classic G&T experience.

For something sweeter, Britons can mix the flavoured gin into a delicious cocktail.
