Asda is set to slash the price of its popular 'Kids Eat for £1' café meal deal to just 60p throughout May 2025, including the half-term holiday week.
The price reduction comes as the supermarket giant celebrates its 60th birthday.
The initiative will run from May 1 to 31 across more than 205 Asda cafés nationwide. Since launching in June 2022, the scheme has served over six million meals to children under 16.
The deal requires no minimum spend and doesn't need an adult meal purchase to qualify, making it accessible for all families during the school holidays.

Families can choose from nine different meals including Penna Pasta with Meatballs, Chicken Nuggets, Fish Fingers and Margherita pizza. Each meal also comes with a free piece of fruit such as an apple, pear or banana.
For those preferring a cold option, Asda cafés offer a pick and mix selection that includes a sandwich, drink and piece of fruit, which will also be reduced to 60p.
The price reduction means a family with four children can feed them all a hot meal for less than £2.50.
The meal deal was initially launched to help parents manage budgets during school holidays, but was later extended to run all year round in 2023.
The initiative has proven to be a lifeline for many families across the UK, with the retailer serving a staggering six million meals since its launch. During school holidays, the scheme has seen peak demand of up to 40,000 meals per week.
The price reduction to 60p makes the already affordable option even more accessible during the May half-term period.
Asda's commitment to supporting families with budget-friendly options comes at a time when many households continue to manage tight finances.
The meal deal stands apart from similar offerings by other retailers as it has no minimum spend requirement.

Vice president - commercial food at Asda, Ian McEvans said: "Asda has a rich heritage in supporting families and reducing our already hugely popular Kids Eat for £1 initiative to 60p is the perfect way to highlight that and to kick-start our 60th birthday celebrations.
"We know families face financial pressures when it comes feeding their children, not just during the school holidays, but all year round.
"We've served over six million meals since we first launched the initiative in 2022, proving what a lifeline it is to families across the UK.
"So I'm delighted that we can drop the price to 60p this May and hope to reduce some of that pressure even further."
