The supermarket has reduced the prices of a series of drinks

Aldi has slashed the price of its new Prosecco Spumante DOC to £4.69 ahead of Valentine's Day, offering customers a 33 per cent saving on the original £6.99 price tag.

The limited-time offer runs until February 16, giving shoppers the chance to secure the Italian sparkler at a budget-friendly price point.

The promotion is part of a wider Valentine's Day drinks campaign, which sees the supermarket reducing prices across its wine and champagne range.

The new prosecco aims to offer delicate floral notes of acacia flowers, complemented by hints of apple and pear.

For those seeking an organic option, Aldi's Costellore Organic Prosecco is available at £6.99 per 75cl bottle.

The medium-bodied wine features hand-picked grapes that undergo gentle pressing to ensure premium juice quality.

Aldi has also reduced prices across its wine range, including the Costellore Prosecco Spumante DOC, now £4.75 down from £5.45.

The supermarket's Nicolas de Montbart Champagne is available till February 14 at £9.99, down from £13.99.

This traditional champagne combines equal parts Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, and offers fruit and floral notes with subtle elegance.

The Argentinian Malbec, featuring elegant blackberry and plum flavours, is reduced from £7.99 to £3.99.

An Australian Sauvignon Blanc, offering aromas of passionfruit, melon and citrus, also sees a 50 per cent reduction to £3.99.

For premium wine enthusiasts, the Pauillac, known for its blackberry, redcurrant and cedar notes, is available at £14.99, down from £24.99.

The supermarket is also set to launch a fiery new addition to its spirits range this week with the introduction of Stefanoff Spicy Vodka.

The budget-friendly spirit will hit store shelves on February 13, priced at £11.99 for a 70cl bottle.

The launch comes as the supermarket chain continues to expand its innovative drinks selection, offering shoppers an affordable way to experiment with bold flavours.

The new vodka promises a complex flavour profile, featuring a "tangy tamarind kick" complemented by a "hit of citrus lime" and a "gentle chilli warmth".
