'Excellent!' Aldi launches two new premium summer tipples for less than £15

Aldi shoppers can get their hands on new pouches that include the equivalent of two bottles of wine.
The new products are available in stores now for less than £15 each.
The supermarket giant described the wine pouches as the "perfect summer tipple" to share with friends or to bring out when hosting.
There are two wines available, so shoppers can find one that is right for them - Specially Selected Sauvignon Blanc Colombard Pouch (£12.99) or the Specially Selected Cotéaux De Beziers Rosé Pouch (£12.49).

Both pouches are 1.5 litres, which is the equivalent of two bottles of wine in one, and are part of the supermarket's premium Specially Selected line.
The chain stated: "Available in popular blends, Specially Selected Sauvignon Blanc Colombard and Specially Selected Coteaux De Beziers Rosé, wine fanatics can now enjoy two bottles in one convenient pouch format to transport just about anywhere.
"There is no need to stress about who has a corkscrew with these lightweight, sealable and fully recyclable pouches."
There is a white and rosé blend available, providing a refreshing tipple for a warm summer day.
Aldi added: "[It is] available in the following blends. Aldi’s Specially Selected Sauvignon Blanc Colombard Pouch (£12.99, 1.5L) is made with grapes grown in the South of France.
"This fresh and beautifully balanced wine boasts notes of grass, herbs and grapefruit. Available in stores now.
"Described by Mistress of Wine, Sam Caporn, as ‘an excellent ringer for Brad Pitt’s Miraval’, Aldi’s Specially Selected Cotéaux De Beziers Rosé Pouch (£12.49, 1.5L) is from sustainably farmed vineyards along the Mediterranean coast.
"Pretty and pale in colour, it features notes of juicy raspberry, cherry and watermelon."
This comes as Aldi launched another summer favourite drink - a summer punch, available for £7.99.

The gin-based drink, Austin's Summer Punch, is made with a secret recipe blending flavours of warm spice and citrus fruits, the supermarket explained.
The tipple can be used to make a delicious sweet summer cocktail and Aldi recommended pairing this with lemonade, ice and a slice of lemon, garnished with a sprig of mint.
It has proven popular so far as the retailer predicted it would sell 2.2 million glasses of Austin's Summer Punch in three weeks across June and July.
